Ashburton crash deceased named

Police have released the name of a woman who died after her electric scooter was involved in a crash with a small truck at Tinwald, near Ashburton, yesterday [22 May].

She was Donna Lusty, aged 50, of Ashburton.

Enquiries into the crash are continuing.

Sergeant Sean Buchanan of Ashburton Police says Police would like to thank the two women who stopped and offered assistance at the scene of the crash.
