May Wang has today pleaded guilty to leaving New Zealand with the intention of avoiding examination into the affairs of Dynasty Group Limited, currently in liquidation.

Ms Wang was fined $5400 plus court costs of $132.89 in Auckland District Court.

The charge, laid by the Ministry of Economic Development’s National Enforcement Unit, was pursuant to section 273 of the Companies Act. Ms Wang was scheduled to appear at a defended hearing on Monday, 28 May, but today pled guilty to the charge.

Two charges relating to the company’s books and records and failing to provide information to the liquidator were withdrawn.
