Large conference facilities hard to find

Since the events in Canterbury it seems hard to find many large venues to hold conferences, wedding or similar type of get together and let’s be honest we want people to support the region and help them rebuild.  Well I found a great venue just 90mins north of Christchurch, in the adventure and relaxing thermal capital of North Canterbury that is Hanmer Springs.

The Hot Springs Motor Lodge is the perfect venue for an affordable and comfortable conference etc, the complex boost 32 spacious units, which can sleep over 85 people comfortably. The hotel, restaurant and conference unit and easily cater for large conference upto 350 people, or weddings with upto 150 guest etc.
Of course Hanmer is the thermal wonderland of Canterbury, the other activities include bungee jumping, mountain biking, jet boating and also a great golf course.
