Submissions made to the Far North District Council's Draft Long Term Plan 2012-2022 can now be read on the World Wide Web.

The council has posted submissions made by 1118 individuals about 3200 issues online at ftp://mpath.fndc.govt.nz/submissions/

Access to the web portal is free of charge.

People will need Adobe Acrobat software to download the submissions.

The submissions are listed by surname or by the name of the group or organisation making comment.

An index document allows viewers to locate submissions on a specific topic

People without access to the World Wide Web at home can read them online at the council’s libraries in Kerikeri, Kaitaia, Kaikohe, Kawakawa and Kaeo where the Aotearoa People’s Network Kaharoa provides free broadband access to the Web.

People can also read the submissions free of charge on computer terminals at the council’s Kaikohe service centre and at its Hokianga i–SITE.
