Fully laden logging truck kills one in crash

At about 6.22 am this morning there was a truck crash in the vicinity of 2287 Kakaramea Road.

The truck and trailer unit was fully laden with timber and rolled as a result of the crash.

It is not known whether any other vehicle was involved.

An occupant of the truck died at the scene.

It is unknown at this stage whether that person was the driver.

The road is blocked and police serious crash investigators are at the scene.
