James likes to work with the raw natural beauty of Nz and project that into items of Art so that they  can be treasured for a lifetime. Jame’s Marble sculptures are inspired by a recent trip to the ancient roman ruins.

Arts Director, Rachael Inch commented “I had the pleasure of meeting Marion and James last year and James had gifted me a pair of stunning paua earrings, I love them and the way that they seem so natural yet they are sculptured into a fashionable look. Marion’s paintings leave me with a sense of belonging to Nz yet at the same time they leave me feeling adventurous to explore the beautiful places that she chooses as her subject. I’m really looking forward to introducing them to the Selwyn district. I hope that many can attend the opening evening to meet them personally as it’s an opportunity that you just cannot miss”

The collection of works will be unveiled at the opening in Hunters Dining room at Terrace Downs Resort on Thursday 5th July at 6:30pm, seated by 7pm for full buffet priced at $45pp. The evening is complimented by the amazing talented Kris Trousselot on the baby grand piano. Together, the elements of Kris’s beautiful sounds, the delicious food, the stunning artwork and the jovial company makes it a night out well worth attending.
