JVC’s two new AV Multimedia receivers are loaded with new technology and enhanced connectivity for advanced and seamless in-vehicle entertainment, offering you a travel experience like never before.

The new Multimedia receivers boast expanded compatibility and flawless linking with your iPhone® and iPod®, with 2-way song selection so you are in complete control.

The new models offer an advanced App Link Mode feature – enhancing your experience of iPhone apps with live on-screen graphic display and music playback through your vehicle’s speakers – so you can get the very best of your devices.

App Link Mode supports functionality from a range of iPhone apps such as MotionX®-GPS Drive, MOG Internet Radio, WebReader, Cobra iRadar™, INRIX Traffic, TuneIn Radio, DriveMate Rec, DriveMate SafetyCam, DriveMate Rec mini, DriveMate OnboardCam, DriveMate TimeTrial and SonicMax™ Pro for JVC (an HD-quality music player powered by BBE Sound) – with even more apps to be added in the future.

The new AV Multimedia receivers offer you control of key functions from the receiver’s screen for certain apps such as MotionX-GPS Drive and MOG Internet Radio, so you don’t even need to touch your iPhone to maximise your experience.

The intelligent receivers also integrate your device by allowing key functions of Pandora® internet radio, such as thumb up/down, skip, and station selection, to be controlled via the head unit while the artist, song, and album artwork appears on the display.

Additionally, these advanced models include a new digital music option of music playback with Blackberry® via USB connection from both the phone’s internal and external memory – so you can play the perfect songs for the drive no matter where they are.

The KW-AV70BT receiver is the top line model for the series featuring a 7-inch WVGA motorized widescreen touch panel display with proximity sensor and detachable face for ease and mobility.

The unit includes built-in Bluetooth® wireless technology with phonebook transfer, hands-free, audio streaming, voice recognition dialling and alphabetical search for phonebook – giving you all the benefits of your phone integrated right into your AV receiver.

Also featured is a USB 2.0 port for 2-way iPod/iPhone control and a new 1A current capable USB power supply with drive-change mode for smartphones.

The KW-AV70BT is WAV/MP3/WMA compatible and features a 3-band parametric iEQ, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, three sets of 4V pre-outs, line input terminals, as well as being steering wheel remote control ready.

This premium model also features a front SDHC/SD slot, as well as dual zone and dual play features.

Also new to the this year is the KW-AV60BT DVD/CD/USB receiver – featuring a fully detachable 6.1” WVGA display, built-in Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, a rear USB port with 2-way iPod control, the App Link Mode feature and WAV/MP3/WMA compatibility.

The unit also features MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, 3 sets of 4V pre-outs, Dolby Digital and wireless remote.

All models are compatible with JVC’s KS-U30 add on video playback adapter for iPod®/iPhone which allows iPod Video content to be displayed on screen. The KS-U30 (RRP $79.95) cable also allows you to display content on-screen from some other iPhone applications such as YouTube. This cable is available in July, is required to utilise the new 2012 App link mode function.
