Police name fatal crash victim

Police can now name the man killed in a fatal road crash in Ngongotaha, Rotorua, at the weekend as Jason Mark Tu McCauley, aged 38 from Whakatane.

Mr McCauley was riding a motorcycle south on Ngongotaha Road at approximately 5pm on Saturday, 14 July when he collided with a Holden car which was travelling north.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
