Community Grants Pool Open

The 2012/2013 Community Grants Pool is now open. The annual grant is open to groups who demonstrate that their activity contributes to the community outcomes below.

Council made provision in its Long Term Plan for a Community Grants Pool. Each year the level of funding is subject to the Long Term Plan consultation process. The funding allocation for 2012/2013 is $7,500.

Application forms are available on Council’s website www.stratford.govt.nz or from Council’s Service Centre.

Applications close on Friday 31 August 2012.

• Prosperous urban and rural business environment

• Sustainable use and enjoyment of the natural environment

• Attractive and safe built environment

• A district with a clear identity where people of all cultures experience a sense of inclusive community
