Railway fatality

At about 8pm on Monday 13th August a female has been struck and killed by a train near Allardice Street, Dannevirke.

Her next of kin have now been advised. The deceased is Barbara Jane GAWN a 52 year old female who had recently moved to the Dannevirke area.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner.
