Police investigating Ashburton sudden death

Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman on railway lines south of Ashburton about 10am today.

Details of the incident are still sketchy and Police are working to piece together events that led up to the tragedy.  At this stage it is not believed a vehicle was involved in the incident.
