At about 9.00am on the 29th of September 2012 Levin Police attended the Te Takere community centre opening at the Levin Mall.

Present during the ceremony was a group of about 8 persons protesting about some Taonga that are on the Te Takere premises.

Four Police officers were present in differing capacities.
