Quickflix have announced that its movie and TV streaming service is now available in New Zealand on all 2012 Samsung SmartHub TVs, Blu-ray players and home theatre systems. Further support for 2010 and 2011 models will be launched within the next few weeks.
This is the latest addition to a growing array of smart TVs, game consoles and mobile devices through which Quickflix streaming is accessible, enabling subscribers to enjoy unlimited hours of movie and TV viewing from some of Hollywood’s major studios including Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, NBCUniversal, Metro Goldwyn Mayer and TV networks such as BBC and ITV, as well as a large selection of kids TV.
With Quickflix's Play service subscribers can watch unlimited movies and television shows instantly, on demand, for one low monthly subscription fee, while its Pay Per Play service offers new release movies on a pay-per-view basis.
Paddy Buckley, Managing Director of Quickflix NZ, said "We're delighted to introduce our Play and Pay Per Play streaming services to Samsung's SmartHub. Samsung have shown their products to be market-leading and they continue to develop their media services, so we're delighted to launch on the SmartHub. This is our first rollout with Samsung in NZ but not the last - Quickflix will be coming to Samsung Galaxy devices soon and we're really excited about that too."
