Serious Crash / Delays

Motorists travelling on SH1 through Huntly can expect delays for the next two hours as police and emergency services process the scene of a serious crash.

There is a short diversion around the scene, across the Tainui Bridge and onto George Drive.

The crash, between a car and a van, occurred at 8.17a.m.  One person is reported to have received serious injuries as a result of the crash and has been transported to Waikato Hospital.
