Truck in flames

Police and Fire are attending a truck and trailer on fire on the Southern motorway in Auckland.  The truck and trailer was travelling south when it started to smoke and burst into flames in the vicinity of the Ellerslie/Panumure off-ramp.

Traffic are being funnelled through a single lane.  This has caused a major backlog of south-bound traffic.  Motorists are urged to use alternative routes and avoid using this part of the motorway if at possible.
