Wellington power outage causes problems

Wellington without power in the wake of the morning, Dribble NZ Reports

2000 buisness's and more homes in the city of Wellington have had the power restored following a massive power outage all over the city which saw the main city,bars,Mc Donalds,Burger King and other shops close at around 2am this morning.

"I was walking threw the city then the lights went out it was dark and you heard drunk woman screaming, I assume it would have caused problems for the hotels and the newspaper company in Wellington" said a city resident.

A Wellington electricity spokesman says it was restored again within an hour at around 3.30am and the outage isn't thought to have caused any major problems.

A few shops did close in the main city while power was restored.

No major problems occured but a resident said "I fell over when I hit a curb! Broke my iPhone!" 

The problems of NZ! 
The power has since been restored.
