TARANAKI

In Taranaki 15 year old teenagers are worried for the sake of their lifes following media making a story way out of poportion.

The story is about highschool students making a page on Facebook about what maori's never say including posts like 'Heres your bike back' and 'im going to uni next year'.

The story went viral and made TV all over New Zealand and now 15 year old teenagers are left with the aftermath.

Residents of Taranaki said what media has done is cruel, viscious and mean.

The media name's won't be named in this report but in some of the articles names were given out, following tonights stories which made TV hundreds of thousands of people have been messeging 15 year olds on Facebook death messeges.

Many students from the Taranaki High School has had to delete their Facebook pages following threats of being hurt.

Media has pushed it out of porportion said a Taranaki resident " 3 n**ws and Pr**e News has pushed the story out of porportion. The page was created by white people yes, but was managed by some maoris too" said a resident of New Plymouth.

A teenager told Dribble NZ News this isnt the first page like this that has offended people there would be atleast another 300 of these same pages nationwide in New Zealand on Facebook and if you totalled up all of the "shit ____ never says" you would get over 10s of thousands of pages nationwide.

This did not start in New Zealand and this wont end in New Zealand.

The students are sorry for what they have done and have been suspended from school but are recieving messeges even from adults giving hate messages.

If one of the 15 year old teenagers killed them self because of this it would be partly media's fault. Recieving a suspension is big enough as a consequence as it is not including all this messaging rubbish.

"It needs to stop" said a father of three young children aged under ten years old.
