English flag to fly on Auckland Harbour Bridge
The flag of England will fly from the Auckland Harbour Bridge on Monday 23 April in recognition of St George's Day. The flag will be flown from 6.30am until 6.30pm.
Transit considers requests from nations wanting to commemorate their country's national day. Recently the flags of Greece, Bangladesh and Ireland have all flown on the bridge.
