Kaipara gained another official Kiwi on Wednesday (November 26) when Genevieve Dumoulin received New Zealand Citizenship during a ceremony at the Kaipara District Council in Dargaville.

Ms Dumoulin grew up in Quebec, Canada and came to New Zealand about six years ago, initially settling in Queenstown. Five years ago she moved to Dargaville where she is dairy farming with her partner, Iain McCahon. Her interests include woodwork in which she has recently completed a course to increase her skills.

Ms Dumoulin is pictured with Kaipara Mayor Neil Tiller following the ceremony.
