I am new to the sport of cycling. Due to prolapsing a disk (C4) in my neck playing rugby at representative level, I have had to refocus my passion and competitiveness on to another sporting pursuit. After some persuasion from friends and family members, I bought a Mountain Bike and have been going from strength to strength ever since.

After just 12 months of riding I have achieved some top 10 results in Mountain Bike racing, including a Silver medal at the Uni Games. I am now concentrating on road and track cycling and have been getting some very promising results in the club racing scene in Southland.

Being completely new to the sport I am looking for any assistance I can get, from coaching advice, racing tips, mentoring and of course some competitive equipment. All of which would be hugely beneficial in realising the potential, and the dream.

I am currently studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Applied Digital Media, and Bachelor of Sport and Recreation, and hope to use these qualifications to one day pass on the knowledge and experience I have, and have yet to obtain through to young aspiring athletes.
