Aoraki/Mount Cook — An Auckland fine arts student has highlighted the issue of global warming through an art installation on the Tasman Glacier Terminal Lake at Aoraki Mount Cook National Park.

Lines in the Tasman Glacier terminal lake demonstrate the extent of its retreat in recent years.

Fine arts student Amelia Hitchcock uses a special rig to distribute dye into the lake from a Glacier Explorers boat.
