A day to examine your buying habits and look at beginning a lifestyle committed to consuming less and producing less waste
Tomorrow is international Buy Nothing Day – an annual event started by Vancouver artist Ted Dave and picked up by Adbusters magazine in 1992. Buy nothing day started as a sort of time out from consuming to examine and discuss the consequences of our 24/7 urge to consume. Participation now includes 65 countries including New Zealand.
