If you've got a local creative project that needs some funding to get it going, we may be able to help.

The Creative Communities Local Funding Scheme - a partnership between the City Council and Creative New Zealand - is now open for applications.

All kinds of projects will be considered - you could apply for funding towards a group exhibition, a series of workshops, short-term arts events or arts-related promotional activities. Projects must take place within Wellington City.

There is at least $50,000 to allocate in this round. Information sessions will be held at 1.00 - 3.00pm and 6.00 - 8.00pm, Monday 4 February at Toi Pōneke Arts Centre, 61 - 69 Abel Smith Street. You don't need to book.

If you'd like to have a chat to someone about your project, phone a funding advisor on (04) 499 4444.
Applications close 12 midnight, Friday 28 February (for projects that start 4 - 6 weeks after the closing date).
