The Justice and Electoral Committee has decided to re-open submissions on the Domestic Violence-Victims’ Protection Bill for two weeks, to allow the public to comment on Jan Logie’s Supplementary Order Paper (SOP). The SOP proposes additional amendments to the Bill and I have attached a copy of it for your information. Submissions close at midnight on Friday 19 May 2017.
The Committee will begin hearing oral submissions at their meeting on Thursday 25 May 2017.
