Serious crash in Christchurch

At 0009hrs on the 22 June 2008 Police were informed of an incident where a male person has been hit by a car in Wilsons Road Christchurch.

The male has internal injuries and a broken leg, the injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police, Ambulance and the serious crash unit attended the scene.

The road has been closed and will re open at about 0300hrs this morning.

A full investigation will be carried out by Police.
