Fatal work place accident in Lyttelton

At about 8pm on 24/6/08 a Port Authority employee was involved in a workplace accident at Cashin Quay, Lyttelton.

The employee subsequently died at the scene.

Police are investigating along with OSH. Further details as to the nature of the accident will not be avaiable until 25/6/08 when a further release will be done by Sgt Robertson from Sydenham Police.
