Landslide in Albany

Earlier this evening [25 Aug 2008] there was a significant landslip in Unsworth Heights Albany. This has put a house at risk and local authority engineers have been on site with emergency services. Two properties have been assessed as high risk and have been evacuated. Civil defence have been advised. Gas and Power have been isolated from the properties. Further media releases will be provided by local authority officers.
