Missing Person - Remuera

Police are seeking assistance in locating a missing 83 year old woman.

Lydia Brooks suffers from dementia and was last seen at 11.00am in Upland Road near the Caughey Preston Rest Home where she is a resident.

She is described as being of Asian appearance, 5'4' in height and of slim build. She has dark hair, thick at the front and thinning at the back.

Last seen wearing black trousers and a black and grey stripped cardigan, she was carrying a black handbag.

This bag should contain a Caughey Preston identification card.

Lydia speaks English and has in the past made her way by bus to the movies in Newmarket.

Anyone finding the missing woman or who may have seen her is asked to ring the police Northern Communications Centre.
