Missing Child in Bay of Plenty District, 3:00pm

Police are searching residential areas and the CBD of Taupo for a boy reported missing just before 2pm today.

Four year old Tiriti Albert was reported missing by his grandfather when he discovered that he had wandered away from his home.

The boy is wearing a green long sleeved shirt with green and white floral shorts.

Police have been told that he was seen at The Warehouse about 2.30pm trying to buy some toys.

He has quickly moved on from there.

Police are appealing for calls from anyone in Taupo who has seen the boy.
