located child in Counties Manukau District, 5:00am

Located 4 year old child in Papatoetoe.

At about 4.30p.m. on sunday 21st June, Police located a 4 year old female near the intersection of Tavern Lane and St George St, Papatoetoe.

The child was unaccompanied by adults and no one to date has come forward to report their daughter missing. Inquiries made in an attempt to locate the parents have also been unsuccesful.

The girl, who answers to the name Valerie, has now been taken into CYFS care.

Police are seeking assistance from the public or parents to help identify both the child and her family.

Valerie, appears to be of Samoan descent and at the time of finding her was wearing a blue denim skirt, white boots and multi coloured stockings.
