Missing Person in Canterbury District, 7:00am

Police are appealing for any information or sightings of Jonathan McCarthy, and or his vehicle, a grey 1990 Subaru Station Wagon registration WR5218.

It is believed he left Christchurch before 7 a.m. yesterday morning travelling to Kaikoura for a work related appointment and has not been seen since.

He is a pale skinned Caucasian, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, grey collar length hair, medium build, clean shaven, wears glasses.

Police are very concerned for his safety and are after any sightings of his vehicle and or him.
