Concern for missing boys

Concern is rising for the safety of two boys aged 4 and 5 who have been missing from their Watkins Grove home in Taita since 1230 this afternoon.

A high police presence and searches by the children’s caregiver and family has failed to turn up any trace so far.

Police are requesting that the public keep an eye out for these boys in the Taita and surrounding areas and immediately report any sightings.

Their descriptions are as follows:

4 year old Male Maori
Answers to the name “Mana”
Solid build
Tall for his age
Green jersey
Dark blue/black coloured pants
No.1 haircut

5 year old male Maori
Answers to the name “Ariki”
Red Hoody
Dark blue pants
No.1 haircut

Anyone who has any information about the whereabouts of these children is asked to contact Police on 111 and cite event number P003933889.
