Morrinsville Police investigate shooting

Morrinsville Police are currently investigating the shooting of a 19 year old female near Rukumoana Ave, Morrinsville, which occurred at approximately 5.30 pm on Thursday the 10th of December.
The victim was transported to Waikato Hospital by Ambulance and released later that night. Her injures are not considered life threatening.
A 25 year old Morrinsville male has been arrested and charged with shooting the victim with a sawn-off Air Rifle. He will appear in the Hamilton District Court on the 14th of December.
