15-year-old charged with Whangarei murder

The 15 year old arrested for Assault on New Years Eve appeared in the Whangarei Youth Court today (Saturday 02/01/10) charged with Murder.

The post-mortem examination of the victim was completed on 01/01/10.

Police will not be releasing the name of the victim as this is now prohibited under the Child Youth and Family Act
with the accused having now been charged with Murder.
