Rain warning - Tararua Ranges and Mt Taranaki

The MetService has advised Police of a Severe Weather Warning for the Tararua Ranges and Mt Taranaki areas.

100-150mm of rain is expected in these areas from about 6pm Sunday until 8am Monday.

Anyone considering tramping in these areas, need to take extreme care and be prepared in the event that rivers become flooded. Please check the MetService website for the latest waether updates.
