Man charged with indecent act

Police at Queenstown have located the white Van with tinted windows sought in connection with an incident outside the Queenstown Event Centre last Friday afternoon.

A strong response from members of the public led Police to speak to a 36 year old Hamilton man yesterday and he has been arrested and charged with doing an Indecent Act.

Police are not prepared to elaborate further on the charge the man faces' however, he has been remanded in Custody to appear at a Bail Hearing at the Invercargill District Court, on Friday January 15th.
