Police were very pleased with the behaviour of persons in the central city after the sevens. People were in the city for a good time and there was an excellent atmosphere and though there were huge crowds, behaviour was generally very good.

However as usual some people allowed alcohol to spoil their night with a further twenty-eight (28) arrests in the city, these arrests were for minor offences including; fighting, disorder, breach of the liquor ban and several people being arrested on outstanding Warrants to Arrest.
