Driver charged over cyclist's death

A truck driver has been charged over the death of a German tourist who had been cycling and backpacking through New Zealand.

Mia Pusch was killed on Tuesday (5 January) as she cycled along SH3 near Bulls.

A 66-year-old man from Wanganui has been charged with careless driving causing death and will appear at Marton District Court on Wednesday, 5 May.
