As a result of the enquiries to the assault on a Ngaruawahia Police Constable on 21 April 2010, Police yesterday arrested a 25 year old male resident of Ngaruawahia for the assault on that police Officer.
He is to appear at Hamilton Dsitrict court today on charges of Aggravated Woulding of the constable. He is also appearing on a charge of Male Assault Female and Breach of a Protection Order.
Police are very appreciative of the help and support of the public helping with our enquiries and so that we could quickly arrest this person.
