Mangere International Airport Terminal

The international terminal at Mangere has been effectively closed down as a result of a gas leak at the Novotel construction site in the car park area.

Traffic is being diverted at the intersection of Tom Pearce and George Bolt Memorial Drive.

The leak is not reported to be major and there is no danger to aircraft movements.

No estimate is available as to when the leak will be repaired.

Updates will be supplied as soon as it is known what, if any, flights might be affected.

A further release will be also made as soon as the terminal reopens.
