Crash - Lindis Pass

Cromwell and Waitaki Police are currently at the scene of a single vehicle fatal accident on the Lindis Pass, State Highway 8.

One person has died and a second person has been flown to Dunedin hospital in a serious condition.

The two other occupants of the vehicle have been treated at the Cromwell medical centre for minor injuries.

The Lindis Pass has remained open but is currently down to one lane.

Police are speaking with the driver and passengers of the vehicle involved and witnesses from a second vehicle
