Arrest made in relation to North Shore hit and run

North Shore Police have arrested a 26 year old male in relation to a motor vehicle crash in which an 80 year old female was struck whilst on a pedestrian crossing in Milford on Tuesday May 25th 2010.

The male is appearing at the North Shore District Court on the 26th of May 2010. He has been charged with a number of serious traffic related offences.

The victim suffered a fractured hip and is recovering in the North Shore Hospital.
