Snow - Central South Island

Heavy snow is falling in the Twizel - Tekepo and Queenstown areas.

Motorists are cautioned to take EXTREME care when travelling and if there is no need to travel it is suggested that people delay their travel plans.

There have been several car crashes in the Queenstown area where Police are urging all motorist not to use the roads unless necessary and to exercise care if doing so.
