PriceSpy iPhone app - your shopping companion

Price comparison site PriceSpy now releases the much-awaited iPhone application. Ever since the arrival of the Android-OS version of PriceSpy's smart phone app earlier this year, iPhone owners have waited to get their hands on a version of the application developed for Apple's iPhone.

The application comes with some interesting features, such as barcode scanner. When shopping and looking at a product, just pick up your iPhone, search for the product name or scan the barcode with the camera. The app responds with the product's lowest price on PriceSpy, user reviews, product features and much more. It can direct you via the navigation function to other nearby stores selling the product.

However, the product has to be listed on PriceSpy for it to show up, and not all listed products will be recognised by the barcode scanner at the moment.
