Search continues at Lake Okareka for jet skier

The search continues for the jet skier who has been missing on Lake Okareka since Saturday afternoon.

The 17 year old Kaingaroa man has been missing since he was reportedly struck by a jet ski when he fell off the jet ski he had been a pillion passenger on.

Detectives from the Rotorua Criminal Investigation Branch have been speaking with witnesses and those involved, and are piecing together what has happened.

The Police National Dive Squad arrived in Rotorua yesterday afternoon and the search for missing teen resumed at about 8.00 am today.
