Rocsil sealing completed

Work to seal surface cracks around the slim line shaft at Pike River Coal Mine was completed early this afternoon.

Sealing with Rocsil foam started about 8 am today and by 1:30 pm crews had completed the work.

It will be some hours before testing of the effectiveness of the sealing can be achieved.
