Wellington Police investigating complaint involving a current MP

Police are investigating a complaint which involves a current Member of Parliament. It is alleged to have occurred in an inner city suburb in the early hours of Wednesday 2 March 2011.

Wellington District Field Crime Manager Detective Inspector Mike Johnson says, "Enquiries into the matter are continuing but Police are not seeking any assistance from the public at this stage."
