Three men arrested in relation to several thefts from campervans in Petone

Three men have been arrested and charged in relation to several thefts from campervans at The Esplanade in Petone.
The trio, two aged 29 and one aged 20 years were arrested in Petone earlier this evening.
Detective Senior Sergeant Scott Cooper of the Lower Hutt CIB says an amount of stolen property has also been recovered.
"At this stage it appears the trio have been actively targeting campervans in the Petone area. Further enquiries are underway to ascertain the full extent of the offending."
The trio will appear in the Lower Hutt District Court tomorrow morning.
