High winds around Wellington and lower North Island

Police are asking drivers to take extra care in and around Wellington and the lower North Island due to there high winds and misty weather in most areas.

We especially asked that high sided vehicles and motorbikes be mindful of this weather.

Please drive to the conditions and have dipped headlights on.
