Double Fatal

Police confirm the serious crash involving two trucks on SH26 Morrinsville, which they attended earlier this morning is a double fatal.

Both male drivers of the trucks sustained fatal injuries as a result of the head on collision.

A passenger in one of the trucks suffered minor injuries.

The examination of the scene continues and Road closures currently remain in place.
